Amanda Barbee
Senior Design Associate
Amanda Barbee is a Senior Design Associate and joined the BWD Team in 2021. Barbee is a licensed landscape architect and provides leadership in golf design and land planning projects. She has a diverse background in design including golf courses, hotels & resorts, high-end residential properties, theme parks, community master-planning, country clubs and commercial projects. She began her career as a high-end residential designer at Cuscowilla Golf Resort before working for a multidisciplinary firm in Bradenton, FL and an international design & master planning firm in Orlando, FL.
Barbee earned her undergraduate degree in landscape architecture from the University of Georgia and is an ISA Certified Arborist. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in real estate from Georgetown University.
Outside of work, Barbee enjoys traveling, golfing, riding horses and watching Georgia football. She volunteers for The Masters Tournament, The Solheim Cup, and Friars Golf Club. She is a Tartan Member for the American Society of Golf Course Architects and a golf course ranking panelist for Golf Digest.
